Vishwakarma Labs, Some renders and procedural shader work.

Hello and welcome back to Vishwakarma Labs.

Today was a day f rendering and giving some details of some of my unfinished models. Behold some glorious shots from today's work on the XB-1 Bomber.

As you can see we are working the shaders and some of that main geometry still, however this panel is looking rather cool already.

Here on that same shading pass we take a look at the cockpit with both side doors open and no lights inside its still not at full splendor but it is definitly giving some good old starwars vibes

Now towards the back of the ship we have more of a fallout look with those monitors right by the energy core's viewport at very rear end of the cabin. i did add an area light 500watts angled 45degrees to the floor and gave it a very light blue hue.

To make the sun like (keyframeable) core, we used a musgrave and a noise texture input into the normal of the principled bsdf then for the color used alos noise and 2 color ramps combined. It was super simple and looks rather nice. The rust on the chrome was a pain to get the color right but we got there with some rgb curves and a few mix textures thank god for Voronoi textures. the plastics where super simple Principled bsdf's with a bit of a noise through the normals to give it some roughness, and the green metal now that was 4 hours of experimenting just to get there, that one i did have to bake a special normal for it so i would call that one half procedural :).

And that is it for now stay tuned as we make more progress on our little spaceship.
